'Please Do Not Disturb' is what we beg in India whereas the same in USA would be 'Please don't sue us for disturbing you accidentally'.

I get more of unwanted messages & calls then wanted, now tell me what is the purpose of me being available to the phone. Not just me, its the same for the 120 crores population ;)

Under the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, if you are a mobile or landline subscriber who does not wish to receive telemarketing calls, you can ask that your number be included in the National Do No Call (NDNC) Registry. You can do this thru' a phone call or a SMS.

Such requests are sent through your telecom service provider and stored in the NDNC Registry. All telemarketers are supposed to verify their call lists with the NDNC Registry before making any calls.

Though I have read bits & pieces of the pdf version of this book, I din't took it serious earlier but now it has become mandatory :D

Things for Out-of-Station..

Normally we start packing things to go out-of-station exactly b4 1 hour (or less) though we were free all the day - human's mind, rite ? :D So, doing that, we tend to miss few things which we realized missing only after going out & we say to ourselves "I shd'nt forget next time!" but we will definitely forget it again !

I have listed out few here which I normally carry which might change frm one to other. May be it wud be easy for you to add 'your things' to the already existing list here:

1. Charger of mobile; MP3 player; Laptop etc. - This is one critical thing we forget the most bcoz we wud hav already plugged in the charger somewhere in the home or office & so easily tend to fail noticing & leave it behind!

2. HDD/CD/Pen drive - Ofcourse! eventually the one that has the data inside which is expected to be more useful when you go out somewhere rather than staying in!

3. MP3 player/Digital Camera - Not all the places we take with us, u know why ? bcoz our mobile prolly has built-in capacity for emergency. Digi-cam/MP3 player is especially required for outing or picnic or some get-together etc..

4. Medicine - It is highly recommended to carry a default set of tablets like: headache - fever - cold - cough - lip balm - body heat - including the regular course you use, just in case you or those traveling with you need it !

5. Sanitizer - It is not a medicine, but more important than medicine! (especially these days with many diseases roaming around..)

6. Perfume/Body Spray/Mouth Spray - So, others wouldn't be scared to come closer to you :)

7. Hat/Umbrella/Sweater - Depends on 2 things: the place u r in & the place you will be in !

8. Credit Card/Money/Ticket/Coupon - Don't think I have poor memory. It's bcoz I never keep any credit cards or large amount of money with me all the time, I carry them only when i need.

9. Tooth Brush/Tongue Cleaner/Paste/Face Wash/Shampoo - When i get up in the morning & see a white color paste hanging out there, I wud feel to go asleep rather than brushing with tht kinda paste :D I am specific about face wash+shampoo so as to prevent losing hair or complexion with the change of water.

10. Flask/Fridge items/Snacks/Water bottle/toffies - I know, I know...you won't forget these !!

11. Hair Brush/hand-held fan/Air-Pillow/Bed Sheet - First two, u need in hot places like Chennai; next two, u need it in cold places like B'lore, all the four if u r travelling frm Chennai to B'lore or vice-versa (like me!)

12. Tissues/Face tissues/Plastic bag/Old Newspaper - You never know when these are useful..especially when u don't carry them ;)

13. Pad-lock/business card - For safety purpose or if u miss ur bag, some honest guy like me would contact u back.

14. Carriage Box/Belt Bag/Mirror/Notebook/Pen - Would be useful if u r going to a picnic.

Other than this, a pair of trousers (ofcourse, other clothes too :D), sun glasses, clock timer etc..when u go for trekking kind of things..

I will add more if i come across any...take a print-out of above bcoz u might prolly have switched off ur computer/laptop while getting ready to pack things...

Having a hectic life-style, its tough to organize all our works (including those petite things!) to enhance the 'tomorrow of your life'. So, its very critical that how you plan to get these tasks to accomplish easily. Also, don't forget ! you should analyze any to-do work according to severity & requirement.

Ok, you got a task struck on your mind. What do you do next ? Ask these questions to decide yourself what is it for you ??

1. What is it ? ~ Explain urself what exactly it is, which will immediately run few thoughts over you creating a mesh of ideas

2. Is it really necessary or worth to spend your precious time, energy, resources and mind ?

3. Is it an old one to be continued ? Why keep on repeating ? Is it recurrable ? ~ sorts out majority here giving way to a permanent solution.

4. Is it directly or in-directly related to you ? Does that needed or necessary to your life-style ?

5. How much money to be spent on it ? Can that be out-sourced ? If yes, again how much ?

6. Needed to get help (like gathering info.) from any service like: help agency or a friend or a relative, etc.. ?

7. Isn't this work applicable to others ? If no, Why ?

8. What are the things you need to get it ready now so that the main task can be done within the date (dd-mm) ? Any specific date or weekend required ?

9. Is it needed to be noted down or its on-the-go to do type ?

10. What other things are related to it to be finished as a connection to avoid doing it later ? ~ Avoids laziness

These 10 points will give some 'yes', 'no', 'may be', 'not sure' answers. The analyzation of answers that comes out of this questionnaire is completely dependent on one's life/mind-set.

It might be a bit inconvenient in the beginning & very time taking. But when days goes by, your mind - which was reading this questions and then answering - would now answer without looking at questions and goes very fast.

Categories to be divide to: 1. Inside (the house) 2. Outside (the house) 3. Out-of-station 4. Office 5. Contacts (to be done) 6. Learn (to be learnt) 7. Computer / Internet 8. Scheduled (that has a fixed date)

Believe me... it makes miracles! I was never let down for any cause (until un-avoidable) after starting to enhance my life with the above concept.

{This is merely an 'article' created by looking at some one. It is completely opposite to "ME" in anyway bcoz I'm such a nice guy... :D}

- Never indulge in any extra-curricular activities: no one cares ! nor it helps ur career/tenure in anyway..

- Never show equality. If you show, management has an option to choose the other, irrelevant to what you are!

- Never speak truth, its bitter & ugly. Some say 'say truth in a nice way', either way it's the same!

- Never work for the company, always work for the management. Company doesn’t know who you are, but manager knows!

- Never share information or knowledge with same or low-level, but disguise that you are highly knowledgable to upper-level.

- Treat your juniors strictly with rules, that way they fear to speak when management ask them anything!

- Never try to help any colleagues/team mates in their work, management might look at them as an alternative!

- Never care for any one but always build-up to the management that you are holding the company on your back!

- The more you make management/team mates dependant on you, the more you get value. Not the other way: "the more you help others to back-up the company, the more you are valued!"

- Always lobby your immediate manager for everything, especially in personal front rather than professional front. That way you stand front in all appraisals & salary hikes ;)

- When some one knows any of the above point about you, give a smile & say "u have to grow-up buddy..."

- Atlast, once the salary is hiked, get away from the company saying: "for a better prospects" !

- Regarding "Technical" aspect: Well, what the heck is that ??

Re-Enable Disabled items

It happens to almost all the windows users sometimes when you suddenly found your computer gets infected with viruses and Trojans which disables registry, task manager, command prompt, run prompt, greyed folder options and blocked system restore, etc.

There is a simple free utility which re enables the disabled registry, task manager, command prompt, run prompt and all other restrictions applied by virus or spyware infection.

You just need to click Enable and with this single click you will enable all the disabled components of windows.

Prevent spreading viruses thru' USB drives

When you stick a thumb drive infected with a worm like Conficker/Downadup into a clean system, the normal handy 'AutoPlay' feature launches the worm and spreads the infection. You can prevent this by flipping the master switch. Here's how:

1. Click on the "Start" button and pick "Run."
2. Enter the text GPEDIT.MSC and press Enter. After a moment, the Group Policy editor window will open.
3. In the left panel, double-click on "Computer Configuration."
4. Double-click on "Administrative Templates."
5. Double-click on "System."
6. In the right panel near the bottom of the list, double-click on "Turn off autoplay."/
7. The default setting is the "Not configured." Put a bullet in "Enabled."
8. Make sure "Turn off Autoplay on:" is set to "All drives."
9. Click on "Apply," and then "OK".
10. Close the Group Policy editor window.
